So i was fadoodling with some makeup this afternoon (fadoodling?) and I was to lazy to wear actual foundation and I'm running dangerously low on my MAC's Matchmaster and it's expensive as fuck, but I digress. I decided to wear my Garnier BB Cream for the first time in forever and I thought I would do a review.
I used to wear this BB cream all the time in the winter because it is very hydrating. I'm just going to stop now and say before we get too deep into the review; I have normal skin. I have some severe discoloration, but my skin isn't oily or dry; it's just normal. If you have oily skin I would not recommend this BB cream to you.
This BB Cream is medium to full coverage. I say this because it goes on sheer but is very, VERY, buildable. It only comes in a few shades but the shade Light/Medium matches my skin perfectly. I have a lot of yellow undertones though... If youre pale with coller undertones you gonna be an oompa loompa. Bitch be cautious.
I have heard in so many reviews that people think this product is extremely greasy and disgusting but um no it's not even that bad... I don't think many people realize that foundation needs time to set. Nail polish needs to dry. Cement needs to dry. But in many girls mind there is no possible way foundation needs to dry. Same with BB Cream. I applied two layers this morning with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and yes, it looked shiny. Fast forward twenty minutes later after I had finished doing my eyes and brows and BAM, BB cream 'aint so oily no more. Even then, it was a little dewy for my taste so I powdered it to a delightful satin finish. It was that easy. My skin looked perfect and felt perfect and everything was perfect.
This foundation is available at most drugstores for around 11$ USD, but there are always manufacturer's coupons for Garnier in magazines and regular sales in drugstores so you could definitely get it for a very cheap price point.
